I wake up with a song playing in my head from time to time.
Often, they are intuitive messages that point me in the right direction or bring my attention to something.
Today, Europe’s “The Final Countdown” woke me up.
It’s because my executive coaching promotion is ending on Oct 31 at 5 PM PST. The song was a reminder to make an adjustment to my landing page.
I started with 10 spots and now have 5 remaining spots available. If you want to take advantage of this offer and explore what a change in your life could look like, you can read more about it here.
Speaking of change ….
From Prog-Rock to Mainstream
Did you know that The Final Countdown was written by the Swedish rock band Europe? I bet you did.
But did you also know that before they were a rock band, they were a progressive rock band?
Think, the band Rush or Styx, but with Swedish meatballs. Something like that.
So, what happened? Why did they change their sound?
I’m no MTV VJ like Mark Goodman, but my guess is that at some point, they realized that their progressive rock sound wasn’t going to be what would make it happen for them.
They added a pop-music keyboard and bam! They have a top-30 hit in the US and are on constant rotation on MTV (That was the case in 1986).
Had Europe not made this change to their sound, and The Final Countdown had never been written, what song would we hear to rally crowds at football games and professional wrestling matches these days? Who knows.
What I do know is that we would have all suffered greatly for it. That’s for sure.
Back to change. Your change.
A Change Would Do You Good
If you’re thinking, “Nick, I’m not ready to give up my progressive rock ways. I can see the future, and prog rock is going to make the biggest comeback since Robert Downey Jr. in Iron Man,” then I wish you all the best—and maybe keep this email handy.
But if you are open to exploring change, let’s talk and see how executive coaching can support and expedite your professional growth.
Who is Executive Coaching For?
Great question.
C-levels and VPs at larger companies are obviously candidates.
But so are entrepreneurs and those of us who want to be entrepreneurs. We are so busy doing the daily things that we don’t move forward on designing the lives we want to live.
A little bit of support can go a long way.
For a limited time only, I am offering 10 one-hour executive coaching sessions for $1,250. You can sign up right here. There are only 5 spots remaining.
If you’re curious about what executive coaching is and what it can do for you, schedule a 30-minute discovery call with me.
This offer expires October 31st at 5 PM PST.
PS
Here is a short Spotify playlist of songs that have either been intuitive messages for me or showed up as I wrote this post.
