Whose dream are you working on?

For some of us, working for a company in a particular role IS the dream.

You get to learn, flex your knowledge, and have resources to support your projects.

There can be a lot of satisfaction from doing that. There’s camaraderie, happy hours, and coffee.

That was me for 20 years.

It works for most people. There is NOTHING wrong with that.

Unless of course, that is not what you want to do.

Then it’s a problem.

Regret shows up. Frustration shows up.

You start asking yourself, “Whose dream am I working on?”

At some point, I was not working on mine. That bothered me enough to do something about it.

I stepped out of my comfort zone, on my own, and did my thing.

Are you working on your dream, or are you clocking in to build someone else’s?

Maybe you’ve worked on your dream, but you feel “meh” about your results.

Maybe you feel you’ve taken it as far as you feel you can.

The question is, “What are you going to do about it?”

Don’t let 2026 be a rinse-and-repeat of 2025. Make some moves.
